Ethical breeding, built into
a business worth being proud of.
ABOUT PUPPY COLLECTIVE
A course, a community, and a mentorship built by two women who learned this industry from the ground up — and want to hand you the roadmap they wish they'd had.

01 — THE BEGINNING
It started with a dream, and
zero experience.
Ashley’s journey into the world of breeding was driven by a deep love for dogs and a vision for something better. She didn’t come from a long line of breeders or have a background in animal science. In fact, she began with zero professional experience and a steep learning curve ahead.
Instead of relying on outdated methods, she spent years learning the industry from the ground up. She researched genetics, studied puppy development, and sought out mentors, determined to build a roadmap that prioritized health, temperament, and transparency above all else.
What started as a personal dream evolved into a movement to change the industry. Today, she shares everything she learned the hard way with a growing community, turning that original vision into a trusted standard for ethical breeding nationwide.
“Ethical dog breeding can be a beautiful business when it's done with education, intention, and care.”
It can start as a side project from home — but with the right plan, it has the potential to create meaningful income and the kind of financial freedom that changes families' lives.

02 — BUILDING & GUIDING

From her own program
to guiding others.
Over the years Ashley raised dozens of litters and hundreds of puppies, built a trusted breeding brand, worked with families all over the country, and created systems that made her program both profitable and sustainable.
After building her own program, she began helping others start and grow breeding businesses of their own — helping women choose the right dogs, avoid expensive mistakes, build strong foundations, market their puppies, and create programs they're proud of.
One of those women was Meghan Thompson.
03 — MEGHAN THOMPSON'S STORY
A fresh start,
and a new perspective.

Meghan Thompson and Ashley Lyons were friends before Puppy Collective began. Meghan Thompson had already built a thriving social media presence around motherhood, healthy living, and real-life family content — with a gift for connecting with people and building trust online.
She and her husband had invested in an Airbnb business and loved learning a new industry, but growing it further meant a much larger investment. Meghan Thompson began looking for something different — a business that didn't require the same upfront capital, but still had the potential for real, meaningful income. That is what led her into dog breeding.
Meghan Thompson understood what it felt like to be new — the questions, the nerves, the excitement, and the desire to build something profitable without feeling completely overwhelmed.

MEET THE FOUNDERS
Two women. Two perspectives. One roadmap.
The experienced breeder who built a profitable program through years of hands-on work — and the newer breeder who knows exactly what it feels like to start from the beginning with the right guidance.
Watching Meghan Thompson step into the industry with fresh eyes helped Ashley realize how powerful this education could be for other women — and inspired her to have Meghan Thompson help run Puppy Collective.
